Simultaneous Interpreting Service
If you are looking for simultaneous Interpreting service, you have come to the right place!
We have a number of options for simultaneous interpreting.
Simultaneous interpreting: The simultaneous interpreter usually sits in a soundproof booth, listens to the speaker through earphones and, speaking into a microphone, and reproduces the speech in the target language as it is being delivered in the source language. Simultaneous interpreters are in demand, so it's important that you book this service far in advance, wherever possible.
Whispered interpreting: Occasionally, interpreters may be asked to provide whispered interpreting ("murmur" or "whisper"), which consists of sitting behind or next to a participant and simultaneously interpreting in a low voice.
All Shanghai Doc interpreters have appropriate language qualifications and possess at least 2 years' interpreting experience within their specialist industry field. There are several interpreter qualifications and accreditations that we use partly to select the most skilled interpreters for an assignment. For instance, for all project interpreting assignments our interpreters have to hold the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or be registered on the National Register of Public Service Interpreters.
