FEATURES OF ELECTROMECHANICAL DRILLING RIG

l         The rig is powered by “4 parallel 2000(or3000) series diesel engines + hydraulic torque converter (or coupling) + chain box drive “;

l         The drum of drawworks is grooved. The main brake is hydraulic disc brake and the auxiliary brake is electromagnetic eddy current brake. It is equipped with auxiliary lifting device. The shift is changed by air tube clutch. Cathead drawworks is equipped with sand drum.

l         Drawworks of rigs with nominal depth above 4000m is split type and installed above and under the drill floor. Drawworks is placed behind the back of drill floor; According to the bevel gear box and cardan shaft, the power is transmitted up to the drill floor to drive the cathead drawworks and rotary table;

l         Integrated chain box compound; Equipped with high power triplex single action mud pump which is driven by cardan shaft;

Key mechanical parts conform to API spec and are marked with API monogram.
